TsutaFuji Onomichi

I was in Hiroshima for a ride at the Shimanami Kaido Cycling Course. At the beginning of the course was the small town of Onomichi and I found that they have their own style of ramen here! Shoyu ramen with flat noodle and fat chunk.

The most famous seems to be Shukaen but it was closed... So I went to Tsutafuji (つたふじ ) a really old and small shop own by an old couple. A really authentic place I was finally curious to try.

I was good but a bit too oily for my taste. I also like the fat chunk but I guess this is not for everybody. This is a good bowl and it cost only 500 Yen... So if you are around and if there is no queue a recommend you to try this style of ramen.
