In 2016 Mensho opened his first shop in America, with ramen more focus on American taste and it was an incredible success. So this year they decide to open Mensho San Francisco in Shinjuku.
I wanted to go there to try their A5 Wagyu Shoyu Ramen! A5 is the best grade you can find for Wagyu meat and I was wealing to pay an extra for it as this ramen is expensive for Japan (~2000 Yen)
The meat was amazing but the shoyu ramen with a bit of yuzu was a bit too classic for me (but still good).
I recommend going for fun if you have time. They also have a Cheese Tori Paitan Ramen I want to try but if you don't have much time to spend in Tokyo I would recommend you to try the lamb tsukemen at Mensho Tokyo
